Amo i dettagli, soprattutto nell'abbigliamento. E qualcosa che mi ha sempre appassionato sono i bottoni. Questi che vi propongo sono realizzati da un trio di ragazze, studentesse di Industrial Design a Varsavia che dal 2005 hanno creato BabaAkcja studio.

I love details, moreover in clothes. Buttons have always played a trick on me. These I'm showing you today have been created by three Industrial Design students at Warsaw University, who founded BabaAkcja studio in 2005.

Il giorno del ringraziamento è una festa tutta americana che è ormai entrata a far parte della cultura mondiale. Quando si pensa al Thanksgiving day le prime cose che vengono in mente sono il tacchino gigante, la tradizionale parata per le strade newyorkesi, la zucca, un ambiente rurale e l'immancabile bandiera a stelle e strisce. Queste cartoline di auguri vintage racchiudono lo spirito di questa festività.

Thanksgiving day is an American traditional event which is now part of the global culture. When we think of Thanksgiving, the first things that come to mind are the giant turkey, the traditional New York parade, the pumpkin, a rural environment and the ever-present star and stripes USA flag. These vintage greeting cards cointain the symbols of this festivity.

Anthology magazine

Anthology, una rivista trimestrale nata lo scorso ottobre, tratta di lifestyle, design, viaggi, arte e cultura. Per presentare la prima uscita, è stato realizzato questo video in stop-motion "Print is not dead". La copertina del primo numero è stata ideata e illustrata dalla bravissima Kristina, altresì nota come Krisatomic.

Anthology is a quarterly magazine launched last October. It deals with lifestyle, design, travel, art and culture. This stop-mo video, "Print is not dead", has been created to present its first issue. The cover of the first number has been designed and illustrated by the wonderful Kristina, also known as Krisatomic.

Micro-sculptures

 

Queste meravigliose microsculture in grafite  sono opere dell'artista di origini brasiliane Dalton Ghetti. Falegname per professione, Ghetti non ha mai venduto una sua opera, infatti di solito preferisce regalarle agli amici. La sua tecnica scultorea si è affinata nell'arco degli unltimi 25 anni e i suoi attrezzi del mestiere sono una lametta da barba, un ago e un coltello per scolpire.

These amazing micro-sculptures in graphite are creations of Dalton Ghetti, an artist with Brazilian origins. Ghetti works as a carpenter and he never sold one of his artworks, which he prefers to donate to his friends. His technique has refined over the last 25 years and his tools are a razor blade, a needle and a knife.
