City crush: Alaska

Il giorno in cui ho visto per la prima volta il film Into the wild ha segnato l'inizio al mio interesse per l'Alaska. Questo coinvolgente film di Sean Penn è  incentrato sulla storia vera di  Christopher McCandless, un ragazzo americano che si spoglia di ogni avere e abbandona la sua famiglia per attraversare gli Stati Uniti. Il suo scopo è raggiungere l'Alaska, in un viaggio alla ricerca della felicità che la società consumista in cui vive non riesce a dargli. Ma può davvero dirsi felice chi, per sua scelta o meno, rimane solo?

The day I saw for the first time the movie Into the wild marked the beginning of my interest for Alaska. This engaging movie by Sean Penn is based on the true story of Christofer McCandless, an American boy who gives up all his possessions and leaves his family to start his trip through the U.S. His aim is to reach Alaska, looking for the happiness that consumist society is not able to give him. But can someone really be happy if alone?
