Louis Vuitton: 100 legendary trunks

In October 2010, Louis Vuitton released a unique book “Louis Vuitton: 100 legendary Trunks” (Louis Vuitton, 100 malles de légende), which contains some of the most beautiful creations of the French maison. In it you will find stories which reveal how a LV trunk is made and what is the idea behind it. The volume has 496 pages and costs 140 €.

Stones and crystals

As every other girl, I love jewelery. I prefer to add a finishing touch with rings or a necklace (sometimes more than one), rather than bracelets or statement earrings. When it comes to choosing a necklace, I always end up to pick the more minimalist, a chain with a pendant attached. It might be a heart, a key or a feather, in this case it's plain stones. I love their natural and simple look, the casual touch they can add to every outfit. What's your favourite? I love the clear lucite stone.

Come tutte le donne anche io amo i gioielli. Di solito preferisco aggiungere un tocco finale con un anello o una collana (a volte anche più di una), piuttosto che con braccialetti o degli orecchini importanti. Quando si tratta di scegliere uan collana, finisco sempre per selezionare la più minimalista, una catenina con un ciondolo. Può trattarsi di un cuore, una chiave o una piuma, in questo caso si tratta di semplici pietre. Adoro il look semplice e naturale, il tocco casual che aggiungono ad ogni mise. Qual è il vostro ciondolo preferito? Io amo la pietra in lucite trasparente.

Home perfection

From houses for dogs to design perfection: today we are going to visit one of the best homes I have ever seen. The interiors of this apartment are a good mix of white furniture, wood and colourful accessories. Look how the books have been placed on the shelves according to their colour and isn't it incredible how the pillowcases nuance matches the map above the bed? I love that the beds have been placed along the wall to create a relaxing and enjoyable space to play, sleep or read. But the detail that steals the scene are the huge powder-pink ponpon in the children room. Do you ever think of your future home and how you'd decorate it? I always swear to myself that one day I'll have a chill out room, with books, candles, music instruments, and an old-fashioned record player.

Dalle case per cani alla perfezioen fatta design: oggi visiteremo una delle case più belle che io abbia mai visto. Gli interni di questo appartamento sono un giusto mix di arredi bianchi, legno e accessori colorati. Guardate il modo fantastico in cui sono stati ordinati i libri e non è incredibile che le federe dei cuscini siano della stessa sfumatura della mappa sul letto? Adoro che i letti siano stati posizionati uno vicino all'altro contro la parete per creare un posto rilassante per giocare, dormire o leggere. Ma il dettaglio che ruba la scena sono gli enormi ponpon rosa cipria nella camera dei bambini. Pensate mai alla vostra casa futura e a come vorreste arredarla? Io mi prometto sempre che u  giorno avrò una stanza relax, con libri, candele, strumenti musicali e un vecchio giradischi.

Tokyo in motion

The frenetic rhythm of the song stand for the hectic life of this capital city, of which are shown the most famous symbols: hundreds of vending machines, kawaii toys and action figures, temples, punctual trains and sushi bars. But Tokyo is not only this and I can't wait to see it for myself.

Questo video creato da Charlesque cattura in modo geniale l'essenza di Tokyo. Il ritmo frenetico della canzone rappresenta quello della vita nella capitale giapponese, che viene illustrata attraverso le centinaia di distributori automatici, i giocattoli e le action figure kawaii, i templi, i treni in perfetto orario e i sushi bar. Ma Tokyo non è solo questo e non vedo l'ora di poterla vedere con i miei occhi.

Hanno catturato la mia attenzione soprattutto perché fra le varie illustrazioni ho ritrovavo volti a me quasi familiari, come se l'autrice conoscesse me e i miei amici. City Crush: Amsterdam

After a few weeks of rest, our weekly appointment for travelers is back. Today we don't go too far, we stay in Europe and land in Amsterdam.
A city built on the water, Amsterdam is well known for its buildings, canals, high amount of bicycles, flower market, mills and most of all for its red light district and coffee shops.

Dopo qualche settimana di riposo è tornato anche questo appuntamento settimanale per i viaggiatori. Oggi non ci spostiamo molto, restiamo in Europa e atterriamo a Amsterdam.
Una città costruita sull'acqua, Amsterdam è nota per i suoi edifici che si estendono verso l'alto, i canali, il numero elevato di biciclette, il mercato dei fiori, i mulini, ma soprattutto per il quartiere a luci rossi e i numerosi coffee shop.
